Sierra Leone, from the Atlantic Ocean, has several beaches along the shore of the mainland, one not far from the west-end of Freetown is Lumley beach beautifully adorning the landscape of this God blessed Country, Sierra Leone. Sierra Leone derives its name from the beautiful rocky and mountainous formations. As found on beaches all over the world, the Lumley beach has several beach houses and clubs dotting the landscape. Lumley beach is a peaceful place to visit. Positioned at one of the club houses, one will see fishermen at the shoreline at their business hauling to the mainland their catch for the day. A view from another angle brings to the scene tourists walking the length of the beach while some sit to absorb the sun and the refreshing Atlantic air.
