University of Jos Library on fire

For those familiar with the University of Jos Library, it was a sad day on Saturday, 6th October when a fire inferno razed down documents, materials and archives stored in the Library. As the fire engulfed and continued to bring down the Library, students and the Fire Service officials made efforts to control the burning section of the University but their efforts made little help as the fire did not only stop at the Library but as far as burning the Departments of Psychology, Accounting, Economics, Political sciences and Business Management sciences. Before the Saturday's inferno, another fire engulfed in the University's main campus' Library in 2013 which claimed about 150 computers, reserved books, card catalogues and the circulation area.
