May we know who you are and the party you represent?

My name is Oshiokhue Philip Ikpeminoghena politically called COMRADE OSHIOKS. I represent the YDP (Young Democratic Party)

can you tell us the position you hold at YDP?

I am an active member of the Young Democratic Party

what does YDP represents and what is it's ideology?

YDP represents an alternative to the Nigerian populace in terms of purposeful governance. Our motto is: "The Light Has Come".

Nigerians are tired of what have become of them since 1999 till date. This is a time when the old guards take the back seats and give opportunity to freshness and new ideas.The ideology is the rebirth of freshness and new ideas in the political system in Nigeria.

what plans does YDP have for Nigerians?

YDP is a new political party in Nigerian committed to the repositioning of Nigeria by Nigerians with fresh ideas in all its ramifications. With our motto, "The Light Has Come", Nigerians will be transformed from political darkness to sustainable light.

Our creative ingenuity, astuteness & energies are being tasked in this forum for the rebirth of a greater Nigeria for Nigerians.

Our Mandate:

Is to capture political power via the next electoral process and reform Nigeria come 2019.

what programmes does your political party have for the women and the youths?

The youths are the pivotal strength of the electioneering system. These same youths have always been used and dumped by political parties and politicians in the past even the present. But I can assure Nigerians that, with the YDP, whose mandate is to send the old guards packing to retirement, the youths will for the first time have a government of their own in YDP. The youths will have the opportunity to aspire to all political positions and at no time will the YDP lose contact with them. This is because YDP is for the youths and the youths, YDP.

For our mothers, wives and sisters, I want to assure them also that there shall be no limit to their aspirations with the YDP. Not only shall the YDP, create equal opportunities for all gender, YDP shall create avenues for women empowerment and skills acquisitions, where every skill acquired must count in governance. The government of YDP come 2019, shall empower the women from the grassroot and make them believe in Nigeria for the first time. They will know that Nigeria had been workable but bad leadership had been the cancer eating up the country.

 Tell us of the acceptability of your political party in Nigeria?

 The acceptability of the YDP is a wow! YDP brings freshness and new ideas. This is what Nigerians yarn for. As I speak with you now, we have over 5 million registered members cutting across all geo-political zones of the country and more are still registering. Nigerians ask for True (positive) Change and in YDP they shall get it. YDP is working tirelessly with our state chairmen already doing the needful in their various states. Nigerians will marvel at the exploits the party will attain before the 2019 elections and after. Nigerians should know that finally, "The Light Has Come"

How is your political party convincing Nigerians to vote into power YDP candidates  and neglect other political parties?

Nigerians cry daily for a better Nigeria. They have tried various and current administrations and are fed up. YDP is just the answer or solution to the challenges befalling our nation. There is no better time Nigerians will turn the tides than NOW. The old guards MUST take the back seat and Nigerians have the power to do so come 2019. All the YDP brings on board is an appeal to the conscience of Nigerian and make them realise how powerful their votes are. During elections, Nigerians are kings so we must use our power wisely. Enough of selling our future during electioneering periods and left to suffer till another period comes again after 4 years. YDP do not have monies to throw around deceiving Nigerians during the electioneering period, but we will promise Nigerians only what we can deliver as campaign promises and with less cost and all must be sustainable for Nigerians to feel the dividend of true democracy.
